DESCRIPTION: This is Jason Snell's musical premiere in the world of horror films, writing and performing the full score for "Plasterhead," a feature-length independent. This release, named "Ellis" after the town where the film takes place, contains music ranging from eerie atmospheres to experimental percussion and integration of film dialog, reduced to it's pure tones. The directors wanted no recognizable insturments in the films atmospheres, so the recording process consisted of innovative ways to play traditional insturments, as well as a thick layer of analog effects. This film marks the beginning of a new branch of Bombardier's musical work and exploration.
