| DESCRIPTION: |
Inspired by the addition of several
Electro Harmonix analog pedals to the studio, the music on
VII is the result of several weeks of studio jam sessions with
the Novavation BassStation and Roland R8. The release is filled
with eerie and hallucingenic electronic sounds in a continous
flow of 7 tracks, each an aural exploration of a Deadly Sin.
For the production of the disc, D13 and Low Res Records joined
up with our midwest partner-in-crime, Matt Demmon of Eupholus
Records, to create the first joint release between the 3 labels.
The label art is a fusion of old and new, the front cover depicting
stone figures from a 1994 illustration called "Quit", textured
with foil imaging. The back cover is a recent illustration
entitled "Adrenaline" made in 2003. The mood of the artwork
was inspired by the Art Noveua revival on 1960's halluncinogenic
rock covers and posters. All the artwork was done by Jason
Snell. |

FUCKING SICK! Just good old ass-kickin' beats.
No filler, just pure, inter-venous, audio adrenaline.
-cdatakill
Enveloping and eery. The beats rarely make an appearance as
this is almost pure harsh-ambient, but when they do it's the
impending dread and the finality of death. It is a nightmarish
disc.
-Sean/Noizepug73 (Damaging
Noise zine)
Such awesome, dark
atmospheres that sound like you're in the middle of
the hells eye.

Recordings)
